Gustavo Campa´s Melodia, which Ms. de la Parra conducted in what she said was the first performance outside Mexico, sounded Schubertian. A lyrical dialogue unfolded between orchestra and solo violin, whose melodic lines were expressively performed here by Daniel Andai.
